Periodontics (Gum Disorders)

This service is offered for patients who have complaints of proclaimed/forwardly placed teeth or crooked/irregular teeth. The treatment duration is around 18 months depending on the severity of the condition. Extraction decision is indicated by each individual’s facial pattern and severity of malocclusion.

Treatment involves attaching brackets to the teeth and inserting wires and pushing them back into their correct position. In growing patients, skeletal jaws disharmony can be corrected using myo-functional therapy if detected at the right age.

Moving teeth using Invisible Aligners can be considered as a more aesthetic option

In milder cases, a removable Orthodontic appliance may be useful for correction of minor spacing or mild proclination. The patient is required to visit the Orthodontist once in a month regularly until the completion of the treatment.
